What’s there to say about another new lock-on mountain bike grip? Besides coming in three flashy colors – Safety Orange, Really Red & Seafoam Teal (plus less exciting, but practical Cement Gray & Blackout), which happen to match their Loam Lever dropper remotes in case you didn’t notice…
…the soft rubber Loam Grips feature a promising-looking grip pattern to offer stiffer ridged support under the palm of the hand, then squishier thin grip lines in between the thumb & forefinger and under your fingertips.
Plus, there is a small inner flange that ramps up slightly on the inside before your hand slides over onto the single internal lock-on clamp.
The super soft 25a durometer rubber promises vibration damping and plenty of grip with wet hands. But since the pad of your hand rests on the blockier pattern, they shouldn’t wear out too fast. The Loam Grips are 133.5mm wide and average out 30mm in diameter, for a claimed weight of 90g per pair.
