I’m a fan of a good Portuguese cork grip. Conveniently, Portland Design Works (PDW) just released the Lisbon Cork Grips. Lisbon is the Capital of Portugal, and the manufacturing spot for these new grips. And these look to be some pretty nice looking Portuguese cork grips.

The new Lisbon Cork Grips will offer cyclists a natural alternative to traditional handlebar grips. They are crafted from Portuguese cork and are made in Lisbon, Potugual.

Cork has inherent properties for absorbing road vibration while offering a positive firm feeling for control, striking a nice balance between performance and comfort. Cork grips can also help reduce hand fatigue during longer rides without feeling soft or unstable.

Quality Portuguese cork grips like PDW’s Lisbon Cork Grips can naturally enhance grip in different weather conditions, working well whether your hands are dry or damp from rain or sweat.

The Lisbon Cork Grips come with a rubber-cork compound at the ends. This will help reinforces the areas that typically see the most wear from mounting and daily riding. This hybrid construction extends the product’s lifespan while still maintaining the natural aesthetic.

Note: The rubber/cork end of the grips are 13mm long and solid, so they will effectively make your handlebars 26mm wider.

If you are into this style, these look nice. The last cork grips I had experience with had to be glued to stay put.
