A prototype Marin 4X bike was stolen Tuesday night along with 11 other models totalling £30,000.

UK’s ATB Sales said one of their vans was broken into near Bury and was totally cleared out of both the bikes and all kit, which included:

– Four Marin Wolf Ridge bikes
– Four Marin Mount Vision bikes
– Two Whyte E120 bikes
– One Prototype short travel Marin 4X bike – the only one in the UK
– One Prototype Marin Attack trail- different geometry to standard spec
– Various tools, THE full face helmets, boxes loaded with pedals and spares

According to Andrew Dodd at BikeRadar: “The Marin 4X bike is the only bike of its kind in the UK, and has a custom white paintjob, with gold and red graphics. It has a white Rockshox Revelation fork, deep section rims with Mountain Biking UK stickers on, and has a very tricked out build.”

“The Attack Trail is bright orange, has a slightly slacker head angle than stock, and has a 38 tooth chainring with MRP chain guide up front, Hope brakes, Answer handlebars and Rockshox Pike forks with Push tuning.”

ATB Sales are offering a reward for recovery, or for information leading to recovery of these bikes.
