This weekend at the Rapha Cycle Club in San Francisco artist Garrett Chow will show off bike inspired artwork.
Chow’s work includes custom painted frames for champs like Zdenek Stybar and Alberto Contador in the past. The work at the left is a Specialized Venge painted to match that bike’s FEA stress analysis under pedal forces (click to enlarge).
Expect to see mostly Specialized bikes – Chow is their lead graphic designer. The event’s called Bicycle Art & Design and is held at 2198 Filbert St, San Francisco, CA. (Map here).
The event starts at 7pm this Friday, November 2nd and doubles as the finish for the MASH SF Cutty Cross Cat alley cat race starting at 5pm. Hit the event link above for details on both.
