Just a few weeks ago, Colorado-based Revel Bikes announced a relocation. Well, relocating from one Colorado town to another, to be precise. Revel started in 2018 in Carbondale before moving to Golden to kick off 2026.

Today, they are announcing another change for 2026. Moving forward, three of Revel’s most prominent models will have a new look. While no geometry or feature changes affect the Ritual, Rascal, and Rover, the bikes now feature new branding and color schemes.

All mountain bikes in the brand’s lineup will see updated SRAM build kits, with XX, XO, or Eagle 90 options. The Rover and R+ receive full SRAM builds, with a Rival, Force, or Red XPLR offerings.

The Ritual is one of Revel’s newest frame offerings, standing squarely in the brand’s “enduro” category. Previously, they offered the Ritual in two colorways: Quantum Race (a glossy green) and Dark Matter (um, black). Both are all gloss.

For the new Ritual, a “Pewter Pan” color will take Revel fans back to the beginning. The two-toned gloss/matte finish that so many loved is evident in this color scheme. Revel’s other Ritual colorway is dubbed “Space-X” and features a gloss raw carbon and black with a touch of sparkle.

The Space-X color also sees holographic logos, while Pewter Pan’s are black.

Like the Ritual, the Rascal sees no changes to the frame beyond color and branding. However, new Rascals will now ship with a 150mm fork, the preferred (employee) setup of Revel’s popular 130mm trail bike.

The Rascal is now offered in the “Copperhead” or “Pulp Friction” (get it!) colorways. Copperhead is a blend of matte black and matt raw carbon, with copper-colored logos. Pulp Friction is also a matte/gloss blend, with the main color being a fiery orange/red.

Both frames also see different branding. From looking at pictures and comparing to previous bikes, the same Revel “R” is apparent on the headbadge. An “R” is also now located midway up the underside of the downtube. However, the “Revel” branding has been moved from the downtube to the underside of the toptube, near the seattube.

Gravel Options

While Revel mentioned that their gravel bike, the R+, receives SRAM groupset options, only the Rover has the new colors and branding. The Rover sees the same logo switches the Ritual and Rascal received, but the headbadge is more of a traditional badge rather than a painted graphic.

“Sin City” is a two-tone pearl white and sparkled black paint scheme. The other new paint option for the Rover is “Augusta,” a forest green with Revel’s matte/gloss split. Perhaps Revel’s tribute to the Masters’ green & yellow? April is a great time to ride a gravel bike…

Revel says that the new colors will be ready to ship by mid-February. A few lucky customers may have received a sneak peek, as a very limited number of the new colors have already shipped. A $500 deposit will reserve your bike as new stock arrives throughout the month.

Personally I feel the hidden logo thing has run its course. One small reason that the Rascal appealed to me and was on my short list for my new bike was that they did have the logo on the down tube. Obviously not the main decision driver, but a preference. I know that others have different opinions, but down tube logos haven’t hurt Santa Cruz’s sales.
