The 3rd Annual Rick’s Ride for Pancreatic Cancer is happening this weekend, March 1, in Winston Salem, NC.  It combines opportunities to do an indoor century as a team (with a coach, music, etc.) or a 36- or 50-mile outdoor ride around the hills of NC.  Outdoor rides have tech support at the sag stop provided by CycleTherapy.
Rick’s Ride was started by Rick Lyons to support Juvenile Diabetes.  After Rick succumbed to Pancreatic Cancer in 2007, the ride’s benefactor changed to support the Lustgarten Foundation for Pancreatic Cancer. They raised more than $18,000 last year.
