The teams for Ride BMX magazine’s annual Ride to Glory have been announced as Profile, BSD, Relentless, Mongoose and Primo.
The teams kick off from Liverpool’s pro training ground Rampworx on the 31st or March and will spend a week on the road attempting to tick off more challenges than any competitor team. Challenges range from having team riders nail tricks and grinds, dropping off the highest thing they can find, long jump and if last year’s event is anything to go by, points will be awarded for making a mess of the other team’s vans.
Last year’s event saw controversy in the form of Sunday Bikes owner Jim Cielencki confronting Ben Hennon over a ‘challenge’ to egg another team member. If you’re into BMX drama, check the clip of that out here.
Ride will publish a web edit from each team online once the trip is over, as well as posting a cover mounted DVD with the issue following Ride to Glory. Check out a few of last year’s team edits after the break.
