If you take Tom Ritchey’s 50 years of bicycle crafting and design, and combine it with the fact that he still rides 10,000 miles a year (mostly off-road), you get an icon that knows a thing or two about bikes. And, the Ritchey Outback is a culmination of that experience. The Outback has become iconic in its own right in the world of gravel and adventure riding and has become possibly their best-selling model. And now you can get it in two new finishes and a new XXL size!

Released in 2018, the Outback has been an uncompromising force in terms of ability and popularity. These updates will elevate the user’s riding experience further.

Some other highlights for the newly updated Outback include internal routing for a dropper, new rack mounts on the fork crown, and internal dynamo routing. The Aurora and Winter Sage colors are also new.

The Outback is made with Ritchey’s proprietary, heat-treated, triple-butted Logic steel tube set. It also comes equipped with an updated carbon Adventure fork with multi-purpose and fender mounts. The fork also rocks a 1-1/8″ straight steerer.

Maybe the biggest news is the inclusion of an all-new frame size–XXL which is meant for riders 6’2″ or taller. The full size range now spans from XS to XXL, and will fit a wider range of riders than before.
