Ritchey announced an update of their World Championship Series component family today with the launch of their new WCS alloy and carbon Curve bars. Building on the success of other WCS components, the curve will come in both a 7075 alloy model and a carbon monocoque model, simply named the WCS Alloy Curve and WCS Carbon Curve bars, respectively.
The bars’ shape and size will fit directly into the Ritchey Fit Logic system, which aims to offer a variety of bars to fit the need of every rider. With a shallow drop of just 128mm and a 73mm reach, the Curve will give riders looking for an aggressive position the fit they need. Both the carbon and alloy Curve models are available in 40cm, 42cm, and 44cm widths.
Claimed weight for the alloy bars is 235g, and the WCS Carbon Curve bars are pegged at 210g. The alloy model carries a $96.95 MSRP and the carbon Curve will run you $284.95. Full specs on Ritchey’s website here.
