As punctuated by the brevity of his response to our questions, Ted Wojcik likes to let his product speak for itself. This year he’s been working with Fifield to produce a selection of thoughtfully-designed, show-stealing E-Bikes. See them after the jump.
BIKERUMOR: What are your main building materials?
Ted: Chrome moly butted steel
BIKERUMOR: What’s new with your company since NAHBS last year?
Ted: I’ve been working with Fifield E-Bikes to build and supply high-end prestige e-bikes.
BIKERUMOR: Any killer custom bike builds in that time?
Ted: All my bikes are killer!
BIKERUMOR: What were some of your newer inspirations for recent bikes?
Ted: I’m pretty conservative and concentrate on building with proven designs. I don’t like my clients doing my R&D.
BIKERUMOR: What are you building this year that’ll draw a crowd?
Ted: An E-Bike using Shimano’s new STEPS E-Bike group.
BIKERUMOR: If you had to build a bike for a Kentucky Derby style race (think short, all out effort on deep, loose dirt), what would you build and why?
Ted: BMX style with 27.5 wheels.
BIKERUMOR: Bourbon or beer?
Ted: I prefer Rye Whiskey, but I do like stouts and I.P.A.’s.
