Southampton and Manchester will host the next two regional heats of the Rollapaluza National Series. The UK roller-racing supremos are combing the country for the ‘King of Spin’ and the ‘Queen of Cadence’, to be decided in the Finale on Good Friday at the Half Moon pub in London’s Herne Hill.
The Manchester heat will be on Friday 26 February at TV21, Thomas Street, and is sponsored by GBH Bikes. Southampton’s event, meanwhile, sponsored by Rock n Road, takes place on Sunday 28 February from 7pm at the Sporting View, Thornhill Road.
It sets everything up perfectly for a double header in Herne Hill on April 2, as the roller racing takes place after the hallowed Good Friday meet, when Europe’s top track stars hit the concrete of the venerable old Herne Hill Velodrome. More details on it all here.
