After a successful opening race at the Sea Otter Gravel Race this year, the Santa Cruz htSQD has been racing its custom-painted Stigmata gravel bikes all season. Now, Santa Cruz is making the Stigmata htSQD available to the public, with a limited run of 50 frames painted in the team’s unique colors. So, whether you want to show your support or are just trying to look as fast as Keegan, Tobin, Alexis, and Ruth, now is your chance to own the same bike as the htSQD team. If you really want to go all-in, check out Velocio’s htSQD apparel, too.

The Stigmata has been a mainstay in the Santa Cruz lineup for as long as we can remember, and it has seen incremental updates to keep it at the pointy end of some of the world’s biggest gravel races. It has proven itself time and time again under the htSQD, with major victories at races like Sea Otter, Unbound, Big Sugar, and more. With a lightweight carbon frame, “progressive gravel geometry”, big tire clearance, and Glovebox in-frame storage, the Stigmata is a highly versatile, modern gravel bike.

The Stigmata htSQD is being sold as a frame only with a color-matched carbon fork. Like the standard Stigmata frame, it comes in Santa Cruz’s higher-end Carbon CC only. Beyond the limited edition paint job, it’s exactly the same as the standard version, with clearance for tires up to 50 mm wide, compatibility with gravel suspension forks, and in-frame storage for tools, tubes, and snacks. The frame and fork weigh a claimed 4.12 lbs. (1.87 kg).

Santa Cruz Stigmata htSQD: Pricing and Availability

The Stigmata htSQD frame retails for $2,799 USD ($3,499 CAD) and comes in five sizes between XS and XL. Unlike the regular Stigmata, it does not come in any complete builds, so it will be best suited to riders who like to create their own custom rides.

Whether you’re an htSQD super fan or you just prefer the team’s colors over the current options, you’ll want to act fast. Santa Cruz only made 50 of these special frames, which are available now. Check out the Santa Cruz website for more info or to find a dealer near you.
