Ride Concepts, a brand that has always been known for its MTB shoe offerings, now has its first two MTB helmets. Meet the Deploy and the Dissent, two all-new half-shell helmets made with the same passion, precision, and quality as their shoes.

It doesn’t matter what type of trails you’re riding, Ride Concepts says that “these helmets deliver premium protection, bold style, and rider-first comfort“. Furthermore, they’re also supposed to be lightweight, full-featured, and ready to “send”.
Let’s check ’em out!
Deploy – Built for the Long Haul, Ready for the Hot Lap

The new Ride Concepts Deploy helmet is said to be both lightweight and well-vented, without compromising on protection. It’s a helmet engineered for XC and Trail riders. In other words, riders who put in honkin’ miles while being confident when the trail gets techy.

It rocks a classic polycarbonate shell in-molded over an EPS core with extended lower hard-body coverage. This increases durability, while a MIPS Evolve Core rotational management system provides new-tech crash protection. The Deploy uses a finely-tuned Flow-thru ventilation solution with 16 vents to keep airflow high and head temps low.
Ride Concepts thinks the perfect customer for this helmet is the rider who “chases singletrack miles, backcountry loops, or daily trail therapy. Ideal for sub-140mm travel bikes“.

Dissent – Enduro’s New Enforcer

The Dissent is a mountain bike helmet geared to protect you on more aggressive terrain. It’s Ride Concepts’ new lightweight, high-performance open-face helmet for enduro, all-mountain, and gravity riders.
The Dissent is overbuilt on purpose, in the best way possible. It sports a tough 4-piece shell that utilizes extended polycarbonate coverage. It also has oversized venting, as well as goggle-friendly features. These could make it your go-to for easy summer park laps, race day, and every descent in between – that is, whenever you don’t need the extra protection of a full-face.

The Dissent uses MIPS Evolve Core as well to protect against rotational forces during an impact. The FS6 integrated fit system offers a locked-in feel, but is fine-tunable on the fly. Add a Fidlock magnetic buckle, X-Static anti-odor padding, and a burly adjustable Link visor mount, and you’ve got a helmet that’s as ready as you are.

Ride Concepts thinks the perfect customer for this helmet is the rider who “pushes hard through chunky lines, race stages, and lift-served chaos. Ideal for bikes with over 140mm travel“.
