Hebie is a German company which has been manufacturing bike parts and accessories for over 100 years. This ‘Bootbag’ design snaps into a ‘Quicksnap’ carrier and is designed to be very quick and easy to remove and replace. This basket design has won a couple of awards, including an Eurobike award. Hebie also makes a clip on chain guard, which clips onto the chain and completely encapsulates it, removing any risk of your clothes coming into contact with the chain. Apparently there is very little friction and the device is almost unnoticeable in use. You can buy the chain guard from Bike Front although it’s not clear if they will be importing the Bootbags.
