Louis Garneau is updating their Quartz helmet (left, black) with a new version of the Spiderlock retention dial and making it a bit more comfortable.
The dial now has a Velcro-like backing and includes a removable blinky light that sticks to it. Inside, the padding gets just a bit thicker, and the straps are a softer X-Static anti-microbial fabric. I felt them and they’re silky! Pics of these changes after the break.
The Course Aero, which is their take on the aero road bike helmet and something we’re looking forward to trying, is finally (!!) shipping in mid-May. It was introduced in Spring 2012.
