Internet commenters can claim a win on this one. After introducing the large volume Pressure Over Drive pumps at Taipei, Lezyne said comments on our site and elsewhere led them to add a digital version. The new Digital Pressure Over Drive will run $159.99 versus $129.99 for the analog version.
That quick adoption of battery powered designs is a good look at Lezyne’s intentions of getting more into electronics. They told us LED lights are 40% of their business, and they added GPS cycling computers not too long ago, too. Expect more like these later this year.
For now, it gets their quick connect valve head. A thin foot lever releases the air from the charging chamber to quickly seat a tubeless tire.
A new chrome vanadium coated tool steel Allen wrench set will be about $25 when it comes out soon. They’re also adding a 6 and 8 wood handled L-shape Allen shop tool to the collection.
The new Rap 21 tool adds a CO2 chuck. It’s their largest tool and includes a chain breaker and bottle opener that doubles as a disc brake pad wedge, along with a full range of allen, torx and screwdriver bits. There’s even a small wrench that works as a tire lever.
