K-Edge continues to put forth small advancements in the out-front mount category, the latest being an adapter that lets you use any GoPro-style mount to attach your Niterider headlights. More interesting, though, is their tweak to the Race Mounts to let you screw in the Wahoo Bolt cycling computer, making it a “fixed” part of the bike. Doing so means it’s not quickly removable, which they say lets UCI race participants include it on the bike during weigh in, so you can have a lighter overall bike. Last up, their new mountain bike chain guides, which come in multiple mounting varieties to fit most any bike with a 1x drivetrain.

Funny, in a bout of sleep deprivation, I pondered posted that exact idea on weight weenies last year and sent it to Team SKY because I thought it would be funny because of their marginal gains policy and everyone thought it wouldn’t fly by the UCI.
Because it lets you race a 6.7kg bike + 100g computer instead of a 6.8kg bike and a 100g computer.
