This is pretty sweet news! It seems that Santa Barbara, California’s Stinner Frameworks, is “looking California and feeling Minnesota,” as they team up with the Minnesota machining gurus, Wolf Tooth Components. This partnership enables the selection of high-quality, domestically manufactured parts for Stinner Select and Podium Series bikes.

Additionally, this new alliance allows customers to choose Wolf Tooth parts directly through Stinner’s website, with color-coordinated components automatically selected to match their chosen theme.

This can eliminate the typical research and compatibility guesswork that often comes with customizing a bike build. The integration uses Shopify’s Collective platform, allowing customers to build their complete bike or frameset in one place.

How it Works

When you place an order, Wolf Tooth ships the selected components directly to Stinner’s facility. There, they handle final assembly before delivering the finished bike. The core Color Shop components include headsets, seatpost clamps, bottom brackets, and UDH hangers. But customers can also add items from Wolf Tooth’s full catalog, like chainrings, pedals, tools, and other accessories.

One of the coolest parts of Stinner and Wolf Tooth working together is that it ensures components work together aesthetically and functionally. This can sometimes be a pain point in custom bike building. Instead of ordering parts separately from different manufacturers and hoping everything coordinates, customers get a streamlined process that delivers a perfectly matched build.

What’s not to like about this partnership? The collaboration combines Stinner’s amazing frame craftsmanship with Wolf Tooth’s high-end, precision component manufacturing, offering riders a domestically-made option for their custom builds.

In Other News: Stinner Goes Bigger
Stinner Frameworks has outgrown its current manufacturing facility and is moving into a bigger and better facility. This is not all that surprising, considering Stinner is now offering domestic contract manufacturing to other brands in the bike industry. This should also ensure a wide array of frames to be kept in stock to keep up with demand. The move is to be completed by February. That means 2026 is going to be a big year for Stinner Frameworks!
