If you called SUPER73’s new Frankenproject with Topgolf something, we figure it would have to be a “golfbike.” Then again, the golf-ready creation may look like a bike, but it works a lot like a golf cart. “E-cart?” Ehh….

Whatever you call it, you can swing up to the tee box in serious golf drip on SUPER73’s new Topgolf S2.

The upright riding position will help keep the wrinkles off the front of your pleated Chinos. The pairing of the Augusta-green chainguard and brighter mint chainring is sure to set off your Caddyshack-era two-tone golf spikes. And the cooler caddy and golf bag mount ensure you arrive at the clubhouse with all the essentials you need for an effective day on the links.

SUPER73’s special projects team, known internally by codename HALO, partnered with Topgolf to furnish what it calls a development on the classic golf cart. Analyzing the traditional, four-wheeled conveyance, the team determined that it had remained largely unchanged for the past ten years.

The challenge, it decided, was “to update the format, offering the modern golfer a practical alternative that could quickly transform into a work commuter or urban explorer when not at the golf course.”

To get the job done, team HALO selected a “powerful motor” with selectable riding modes from among SUPER73’s beefy lineup of fat e-bikes. Once they got that out of the way, the only thing left was to embellish.

For functionality at and away from the clubhouse bar, the bag and cooler mount unbolt from the frame “in seconds” whenever necessary. A golf ball-shaped Speaqua Speaker cranks the tunes from under the S2’s removable battery pack.

A bread loaf-style Saddlemen custom seat cushions your rear end, especially after that friend you don’t usually invite kicks it up and down 18 holes all day. And Vee Speedster Whitewall Tires plus a SUPER73 McFly handlebar give you the “coolest kid in the neighborhood” look your parents also begrudgingly paid to give you back in the 1960s.

It’s all on deck for the SUPER73 Topgolf S2 concept. It’s unclear whether the vaunted HALO team will make it available to mere mortals who play with handicaps or take mulligans. Also, we don’t know whether we’d take it on the course unless we planned on getting kicked out.

No worries, you’ll still look cool — or something — rolling up to Topgolf.

hmm I wonder what’s gonna happen with all the lithium batteries when people get bored with these POS bikes or priced out of repairs?

I think that kickstand will do some damage to the green.

A golf bike without a cup holder? Get a HandleStash on that thing!

I think some golf courses would not allow that for liability reasons . The terrain at most golf course cause could be an issue as well for the average person who is not use to off-road type riding.
