Sweet Protection just lit the match on summer style with their new Hyper Violet colorway — this one pops! Whether dropping into chunky singletrack or hammering road and gravel miles, the new Hyper Violet Fade and Black Hyper Violet options add a nice summer flash to Sweet Protection’s multi-discipline helmet lineup.
Hyper Violet = Maximum Send Energy

Sweet Protection leans into the look fast, go fast ethos, and Hyper Violet is pure adrenaline in pigment form. They say it’s “inspired by the intensity of the outdoors and the adrenaline of high-speed pursuits” — I agree. It’s bold, confident, and fun—everything we want to be on the bike.
Style Meets Send

What is that color?
Sweet Protection calls it Hyper Violet Fade. The color starts from deep electric purple, and fades to a high-voltage blue burst – kind of like a lightning strike caught mid-strike.

Meanwhile, Black Hyper Violet keeps it a bit more stealthy but still edgy — more “silent killer” than a neon peacock, but still impossible to ignore, offering a style and companion color to your rider expression. That’s especially evident in the Falconer, which can tuck most of that color under its snap-in magnetic Aero vent covers.
And it’s not just a paint job on a couple of helmets. This limited drop hits nine top-tier models across MTB, road, and paddle sports. No matter what you’re bombing down, this collection will hold up and stand out.
Sweet Protection Helmets Getting the Hyper Violet Treatment

Here’s what’s getting the Hyper Violet makeover:
- Strayer 2Vi MIPS – A full-face gravity helmet that’s just as at home in the bike park as on an enduro stage.
- Falconer (Aero) 2Vi MIPS – The road helmet for the rider who thinks aero gains and style points are equally important. Inspired by nature’s fastest flyer, it’s made to slice the wind and turn heads.
- Bushwhacker 2Vi MIPS – Trail junkies, rejoice. This lid is the go-to for big missions, climbs, and descents. Now in purple.
- Primer MIPS—XC and trail riders who don’t need anything less than full-featured protection will dig the Primer. It’s all about comfort, coverage, and a dialed fit, now with extra flare.
And if you’re riding detours to the rapids, good news — the color drop carries over into Sweet’s paddle gear, too.
The new colorway is available now online and through select Sweet retailers.
