The goal is to celebrate the culture and comradery of mountain biking, make new friends, demo cool bikes, build your skills, and raise money for the trails. Featuring over 60 miles of legendary red dirt singletrack, the area is packed with clear refreshing lakes and magnificent views in a beautiful area.

It’s time for a new generation of cycling events, ones not rooted in competition but in fellowship and stewardship. This is the chance to truly engage all of the riding community to come together for one magnificent weekend. It’s going to be a good old fashioned dirt party, on some of the best trails around..” – Event Director Jeff Frane.

Fundraising Opportunities

On top of all the fun that you’ll have hanging around bikes and bike people, there will also be a few fundraising opportunities for you to take advantage of. The fundraising will support two groups that helped make the Midwest Mountain Bike Fest possible.

The first group is The Cuyuna MTB crew. They are local trail stewards, advocates, and architects of the world-class trail system in which the festival will take part. Midwest Moutain Bike Fest will donate $10 from every festival pass sold, to them.

The other cause is New Belgium’s Saturday Night shindig, Pints for a Purpose, where $1 from every pint of Fat Tire sold will be donated to the Cuyuna MTB Crew.
