THM carbon moves direct to local shops in Europe for improved availability

While it seems trivial to focus on just a change in their distribution network, the difficulty of acquiring some of THM’s premium ultralight carbon components has frustrated many potential buyers. Price has and will continue to be the main obstacle to more people riding the often crazy light made-in-Germany carbon kit from THM, but at least they should soon be easier to get ahold of with new direct relationships with local bike shops.

THM carbon, now dealer direct

This was the promise of THM’s acquisition by 3T last year, but it looks like better availability is finally on the way thanks to a new wholesale sales platform that will let bike shops around Europe more easily order electronically, direct from the German company.

“There’s lots of pent-up demand for THM’s wonderful products and with our new B2B platform we’ll be able to fulfill that demand,” says 3T’s president René Wiertz. They’ve spent the last year building up more stock so they can meet the demand from premium bike builders and shops throughout Europe, hopefully cutting lead times to reasonable levels.

If you need some ultra-light German made carbon, like their newly updated 78g stem or 120g brakes and your local shop hasn’t already started dealing direct with THM, tell them to drop the company a line at info@thm.bike.

The crank only works with Jumping and Wolf Spiders at the moment. Recluse and Widow versions will be coming soon. All other Spiders will require an adapter.
