Commencal freeride athlete Tomas Lemoine is best known for his slopestyle performances. In 2022, he pushed the boundaries of the Red Bull Joyride competition. During his run, Lemoine carried incredible speed into the last feature—a massive wooden platform. While most were tricking on and off the platform, Lemoine jumped the entire feature.
The send and an overall ridiculous run put Lemoine in third. It also cemented Lemoine in slopestyle history.
Despite his prominence as a slopestyle athlete, Lemoine always had other goals. Ever since he was a kid, he had Red Bull Rampage on his mind. As a professional, he made it a goal.

And, in 2025, Lemoine accomplished that goal, participating in his first-ever Red Bull Rampage. Similar to his Joyride send, Lemoine had to have a massive feature in his Rampage run. So, he and his team built what was dubbed the Stratos Drop.
While exact measurements aren’t known, the Stratos Drop is massive. It is also incredibly technically challenging, with Lemoine rolling slowly and controlling his speed before turning off a narrow ridge and sending the enormous drop.
The build, the send, and Tomas Lemoine’s Rampage experience are all captured in a recently released documentary. Check it out above.
