Found via La Gazzetta della Bici, some amazing photos of the Tour 1993 by a Japanese photographer called Ta Do. Check the sausage hats and the steel bikes, find your favourite riders! Makes me feel 13 again… Surely one of the best things to happen with Flickr is the slow digitisation of a billion people’s archives. There must be some more gems out there.
Ta Do’s also got some pretty nice pictures of the Giro 1991, and La Gazzetta is a great source of pictures and words on the finer side of cycle sport. Be sure to check them out.
