Flying under the radar for nearly two decades, German bike brand, Tout Terrain has been making its mark. Launched in November, Tout Terrain North America has set up its new headquarters in Tucson, Arizona.
Tout Terrain was born on a cycling trip through Nepal in 2004 by Stephanie and Oliver Römer. Officially founded in 2005, with the brand mission to do a better job of meeting the needs of traveling cyclists. Tout Terrain has a strong reputation. It’s offering an ever-growing range of bikes, eBikes, trailers, and components for adventures around the world.
Totu Terrain continues to innovate, from the first USB dynamo, “the plug”, and the ATB Singletrailer featured in a famous Danny MacAskill video, to leading the way in incorporating Gates Carbon Drive and Pinion tech into production frames.
The brand is known for offering many custom options and Tout Terrain North America customers can shop tout-terrain bikes for a collection of ready-made, “Select” models, trailers, and accessories available for immediate shipping.
On the cargo side, the brand’s Mule pull-behind cargo trailer is available for preorder at $825. The Mule can carry up to 38kg, and 80-100 liters of cargo.
Tout Terrain North American customers now have the opportunity to get in touch with Tout Terrain’s local team for help planning a custom bike order. That entails selecting a frame, components, powder coat color, and more, to create a one-of-a-kind dream bike.
And like Tout Terrain’s Select models, custom bike orders are finished and assembled at the Tout Terrain factory, which is located in Gundenlfingen, Germany, and will ship within four months.
