Trek Project One adds SRM powermeter crankset and computer options

Trek’s Project One custom bike builder is now offering SRM powermeter cranksets and computers.

Cranksets equipped with the German brand’s powermeters are available from SRAM, Shimano and Campagnolo. You’ll also have the option of adding a Power Control 7 computer for a mere $787. The move comes with the introduction of the RadioShack Leopard team bikes, which will be equipped with SRM bits, including the version for the latest Dura-Ace 9000 they introduced last fall.

Bonus: I believe almost all of the Powercontrol and the Powermeter itself are made in the USA right here in Colorado 🙂

apart from offering excellent service within us (according to my experience) why is that a bonus? “made in germany” ain’t that bad, right?

OT: kick ass feature in project one. wonder whether they are going to offer the new Quarqs, too (together with Garmin head units)

Bas: I’m thinkin’ Sevo called out the bonus because its rad to know that in someplaces in ‘merica there are still ‘mericans making stuff.
