As Editor you’ll be ultimately responsible for producing an outstanding, sector-leading and innovative magazine, as well as managing and developing your editorial team. In this role you’ll gain the invaluable experience of leading the creation of a new title by tailoring and shaping the magazine to ensure it delivers the readers’ needs and wants. This is an exciting opportunity to work closely with the Publisher to deliver the long term publishing strategy, continue the development of the new Triathlon launch and grow magazine circulation.
The job requires previous experience as an Editor, gained from a newsstand magazine or website, you should be able to demonstrate your editorial talent, people management skills and creative flair and you’ll need a valid UK driver’s license. Knowledge of triathlon and the industry is not essential as we have a team of expert triathletes. We are looking for is someone who can lead the team to produce a brilliant magazine.
