Bienvenido Aguado Alba has shared footage of his crash during practice at Red Bull Rampage. At the first time of asking, Bienve sent the infamous canyon gap to flat, going much deeper than the intended landing. He crashed hard, but we have it on good authority that Bienve is alright, and will continue with practice today. A spokesperson from YT says he’s been cleared to ride after hospital scans, and after checks by medical staff.

We’re stoked to hear that good news, and very much look forward to seeing what Bienve can throw down this coming Friday. This guy is one seriously exciting rider, having secured the award for best trick at Swatch Nines, and best run at Darkfest.

Bienve’s Custom Rampage YT Tues

Bienve is riding a custom-painted YT Tues DH bike. Some highlight component details below…

“The inspiration for this year’s design comes from lucha libre wrestling, and fits pretty well with Rampage. Raw, brutal and also represents the fight each athlete goes through, both mental and physical. It’s a huge honor to have the opportunity to make a small contribution to the most amazing freeride event, and I can’t wait to see Bienve in action later this week.”

That whole event is ugly. Bunch of SxS’s. grooming of terrain, and the inevitable paralysis of a rider or two and a Go Fund Me churn. Eff that.
