000 Kelly Mcgarry

“McGazza” may not get to see this video in person, but it represents something that was close to Kelly and will benefit from for years to come. Kelly McGarry, iconic free-rider, and one of the biggest Redbull Rampage competitors (in stature & skill), passed away unexpectedly earlier this year during a ride.

“Kelly vs. the Volcano”, shot on White Island in January in association with Tourism New Zealand was originally created to promote Crankworx Rotorua, an event Kelly help make a reality. With Kelly’s loss, they transformed the video into a personal nod from Kelly to get more people excited about riding in New Zealand where he is from by raising money through the Kelly McGarry memorial trust. The money will be used to promote riding and build more trails.

Check out the fantastic & hilarious video of Kelly and see how you can help his cause, plus tag along on some adventures with Bombtrack and Tumbleweed Bikes…

The folks at CoLab Creative did a great job capturing Kelly’s magnetic & outgoing personality and what started out as a promotion became something better that Kelly would have appreciated. Watch the video then click on one of the links below to see how you can help.

From Tumbleweed Bike Company, this video is about owner Daniel Molloy’s path to creating what he believes is the perfect adventure bike. The details show he put a lot of thought into his creation.
