Black Train Films sent us the latest segments in their heartrending documentary Unstoppables – the story of the Pirates Team which is made up of a passionate group of cyclists with physical disabilities. See the intro to their documentary here. They describe their newest segment shown above:
“We have now launched our latest video. It is very moving – it is about a child who had his leg amputated at birth and became a BMX champion, thanks to the help of his twin brother.”
Watch ‘Miguel & Paco’ after the break.
“Paco, a member of the Genesis cycling club in Barcelona, had a massive surprise the day he turned up at the Velodrome and found his hero Miguel Indurain there to greet him (thanks Miguel). Unfortunately shortly after the visit, Paco lost his battle with cancer. He had managed to survive longer than the doctors expected him to, showing the fighting spirit that predominates throughout our documentary. We dedicate this clip in loving memory of Francisco Gutiérrez Quirós, (Paco) who passed away on December the 29th 2012, aged 47. R.I.P.”
