Washington DC getting a cycling velodrome

According to Major League Cycling president David Butterworth, DC is getting a velodrome in 2012. Plans put it near Nationals Park on a 1.5 acre plot of land. Estimated building cost is $300,000 with annual operating costs being about half that thereafter.
