Hopefully you’ll never need their services, but if you’re injured out on the trail you’ll be better off with a BCLL trained rider at your side. Back Country Life Line has been working recently to educate and train riders in techniques like CPR and first aid so they’re ready if things go south. Part of BCLL is the 139 Fund – a 501(c)(3) non-profit in memory of enduro racer Will Olsen, who sadly passed away last year during a race in Colorado.
Part of their operation as a non-profit means they need funds to continue to operate and make us all a little safer out on the trails. To help raise funds, BCLL has partnered with Yeti, EVOC, Maxxis, Fox, ENVE, and Enduro MTB Training to offer a range of prizes of their upcoming raffle (Yeti, Maxxis, Specialized, Smith, and Shimano have also been instrumental in supporting the program since the beginning). You can enter to win the prizes including a complete Yeti SB6c, by donating to BCLL. The more you donate, the more chances you have to win. The contest runs until July 30th, where the winner will be announced at the rider party for the upcoming Aspen Snowmass BME race. You do not need to be present to win.
