Winter Bicycles has released their new (read: next season’s) team cyclocross bike.  Built from a blend of Dedacciai and True Temper tubes, Winter’s founder Eric Estlund says it’s a lightweight steel race frame with great mud clearance and no unnecessary braze-ons.  The bike is custom built based on the customer’s size and riding style and comes with a custom steel fork and integrated stem/cable hanger.
Eric will feature the bike at the San Diego Custom Bicycle Show in April and at the nearby ‘Cross Nationals when they come to Bend, OR, in 2009.  Read our recent interview with Eric, or click “more” to see additional pics of this bike…
Eric says the bike is built to last several seasons of racing and training.
Lugs and frame details like these (above and below) give the Winter more of a custom feel.
The squared off chainstays keep the mud from building up.
