Last year, Wolf Tooth Components surprised us by getting into the chain lubricant game. Now they’re jumping into the grease game as well with the new WT-G Precision Bike Grease.

Wolf tooth components WT-G cycling specific grease

Calling it a waterproof, synthetic oil-based lubricant, WTC WT-G is meant for use on anything from hub bearings, freehubs, cable housing, headsets, bottom brackets, suspension pivots, and general bike assembly. The grease has a low viscosity and is formulated to maintain consistent performance from -60ºF to 360ºF (about -50ºC to 180ºC). Unlike the chain lube which was a collaboration with another brand, WTC tells us that this is a product that will only be offered through them.

Developed to offer high resistance to oxidation and corrosion, the grease is safe to use on steel, aluminum, and titanium. Available in 2oz or 8oz containers, the grease is made in the USA and priced at $7.95 or $24.95 respectively.

Makes sense. If you’ve ever looked at bulk pricing for industrial lubes the profit margins even after the cost of repackaging are astronomical.
