BikePortland.org reminds everyone that World Naked Bike Ride is coming up June 13…it’ll be here before you know it.  Jonathan Maus, editor and budding photographer, gets credit for the photo above (and video after the break) and says that there were about 800 riders in 2007 and about 2,000 in 2008.  And, as part of what makes Portland such a great cycling locale, participants needn’t fear Johnny Law…a local judge dismissed past charges saying that riding naked is a “well established” tradition in Portland.
If you’re sensitive to seeing nekkid people riding bikes, don’t hit ‘more’ to watch the video of last year’s event…
As with most things involving naked bodies (and life in general for that matter), the anticipation is part of the fun, and it’s usually over all too quickly.  Enjoy.
Check out more of Jonathan’s art on Flickr.  And, you may want to hit the tanning beds first…we’re just sayin’…
