Yeti ARC modern hardtail now available in non-limited edition models

The 35th Anniversary Yeti ARC is a sweet build that honors the heritage of the brand. But what about those who can’t afford a limited edition, $10k hardtail? Well, if you were hoping that Yeti would eventually release more modest builds of their newest hardtail, you’re in luck – the Yeti ARC is now back in the lineup full time.

Since this bike shares the frame of the 35th Anniversary model, you might already know all the details. If not, you’re looking at the modern rebirth of a legend. The new ARC is designed around 29″ wheels with clearance for 2.6″ wide rubber with a 130mm travel fork.

Geometry

Unlike previous ARCs that were meant purely for XC racing, this bike is built to be more versatile with longer travel, bigger tires, and a 67° headtube angle with a steep 76° seat tube angle.

Frame details include internally routed cables with internal tubing and secure closures at each end to prevent rattles. A molded downtube protector and finned chainstay protector keep the frame safe and quiet. For bottom bracket duties, the frame runs a BB92 press fit with two bolt ISCG 05 chain guide capabilities. Fully dropper compatible with a 31.6mm seat tube and 175mm Fox Transfer posts, the frame also includes Boost 148mm rear hub spacing.

Pricing

Like other models in Yeti’s lineup, the ARC will be offered in both C/Series, and TURQ Series carbon frames. The TURQ models use a higher grade of carbon fiber for a slightly lighter frame. Actually, Yeti will be selling both the TURQ and C/Series builds with a TURQ level carbon frame. But the C/Series bikes are still less expensive, with Complete builds starting at $3,600 for the C1. The TURQ bikes start at $5,100 for the T1, and top out at $6,800 for the T3. Technically, the 35th Anniversary model is still the highest end TURQ Series model, but once the 100 of them are gone, they’re gone.

Frames will also be available with the TURQ Series frame priced at $1,900. Upgrades for complete bikes will be offered as well, with DT Swiss EXC 1501 carbon wheels and SRAM AXS options for the TURQ bikes, and for the first time, Fox Factory Suspension upgrades will be offered on the C/Series.
