YT has released a new Capra Core 3 Model for 2023, updated with a RockShox Ultimate level suspension package, electronic shifting from a SRAM GX Eagle AXS drivetrain and a $4,599 USD price tag.
YT Capra Core 3 29 & MX Models
The new YT Capra Core 3 is improved over its predecessor with the latest, most adjustable long-travel suspension components from RockShox in the form of the ZEB Ultimate Fork with Charger 3 Damper and Debonair+ Air Spring, and the Super Deluxe Ultimate Air Shock. Combined with the Capra’s Ultra Modulus Carbon Fiber frame delivering 165mm of rear wheel travel (170mm on the MX) and the wireless electronic shifting from the SRAM GX Eagle 12 Speed Drivetrain, the Core 3 delivers an enduro-worthy package that is likely to tick the boxes of many a rider.
The Core 3 is complete with a Crankbrothers Synthesis Alloy Enduro Wheelset, home to a Maxxis Assegai MaxxGrip and Maxxis Minion DHRII MaxxTerra combo. SRAM Code R brakes take care of speed management, while a Renthal Alloy bar and ODI lock-on Grips keep things calm in the cockpit. The bike is finished with an E13 TRS+ Chain Device, and an SDG Bel Air 3.0 Saddle atop the YT Postman dropper (up to 200mm drop on an XXL).
