If you have been following mountain biking news over the last several months, you’ve likely seen the saga that is YT Industries. But now they seem to be back and swinging, bringing back their iconic annual limited edition DH bike build with this YT Tues Limited 2025.
In case you haven’t kept up on the tea, here are the CliffsNotes.
Earlier this summer, YT Germany announced a restructuring process, but claimed the US arm of the brand was “business as usual.”

Drama surrounded the mountain bike brand during this time. Customer complaints began to roll in and found their way to social media. Customers purchased bikes that were never delivered, remaining in limbo during the restructuring.
Unfortunately, the situation continued to spiral downward, culminating in YT’s closure across European and US markets. In the weeks following this announcement, YT’s founder, Markus Flossman, repurchased the brand.

Flossman’s announcement on November 17 looked bright for European markets. However, US availability was said to be “coming at a later date.” Well, perhaps that date is now.
YT Tues Limited 2025 special edition DH bike

This isn’t the first time YT has released a limited edition Tues at the end of the year. Between 2011 and 2013, the brand began releasing the Tues Limited. The bike was uniquely equipped with quality (expensive) components, but sold at a relatively reasonable price.
Their mission with the Tues Limited was simple. YT wanted to support riders who were taking racing and riding seriously but perhaps couldn’t afford the highest-spec offerings. This attitude helped establish the brand’s culture and played a significant role in building YT’s reputation for rad bikes at a reasonable price.
“The original Tues Limited played a huge role in shaping who YT was as a brand. It stood for fairness, passion, and the belief that great performance shouldn’t be reserved for the few. Bringing it back now, after everything the brand has been through, feels like reconnecting with our true DNA,” Flossman said.
