Zoic has a few fresh pieces of clothing for Spring 2012 for men and women. We’ve also cobbled together a few examples of some current fall styles that are in their regular rotation because, as we flipped through their website, the collection of patterns and designs really stood out as both technical and downright stylish.
Starting with the Black Market convertible cycling pants that zip off into shorts, they’re made with a technical quick dry fabric with a bit of spandex for stretch. The cuffs button up with reflective bits underneath, a stretch waistband with adjustable buckle and angled zip pockets on the legs for easy access while riding.
They have a padded liner inside, and the gussetted crotch is designed to make sliding on and off the saddle easy. For $79, they look like a pretty good deal.
With similar styling in a shorts-only version, the Ether are mountain bike shorts with a 12″ inseam and removable padded liner. It’s also coming soon in a Premium version with an upgraded Cytech chamois and outer material.
Keep reading for pics, plus women’s and children’s versions of these shorts and more, plus a special pre-order link for some 2012 items…
The standard Ether is available in tan, black, red, blue and gray for $79.
The Ether Premium gets a bit of color (left) and the upgraded chamois for $99. Centered is the Sovereign ($114) and on the right is the Antidote ($129), two additional MTB shorts with slightly different pocket layouts, vents and patterns. All include headphone ports on the side pocket.
There are some plaid prints, too, but this houndstooth fabric on the Reign knickers is now near the top of my wish list.
The women’s Ambrosia jersey ($55) is a half zip nylon/spandex top that’s as good for running or other activity as it is for cycling. Front hand warmer pocket, chest pocket and a back pocket with size zip entry along the seam with cable port for headphones.
