From POC’s PR guy, we just got this stream of bite sized sentences describing their new all-mountain style mountain bike helmet. We’d rewrite, but really, what more do you need to know other than the weight (which we don’t know, yet)?
The NEW Trabec Race in-mold MTB helmet has been developed in line with all other POC helmets, to provide the highest possible degree of protection without comprising functionality and performance. From the inside and out, the helmet has borrowed its construction from how the skeleton is built, for strength, resistance and durability. The Aramid filament reinforced EPS core is super tough and resilient to any kind of crash. The outer PC shell has optimized coverage without seams or gaps in the most exposed areas. The PC shell bonds both mechanically and chemically together with the reinforced core, giving a very light and strong helmet construction. The vent hole pattern is evenly distributed and optimizes airflow and protection.
Price is $175, we’ll get more deets on availability at the big show in Vegas.
