Well, it seems for some people mounting an iPhone to your handlebar just isn’t enough.  After all, it’s awfully hard to tweet your aprés ride plans on such a small keyboard.
Instructables has directions for mounting an sub-notebook computer to your handlebar.  Designed by an Open Streets Mapper aficionado, it was built to make it easier for him to map and navigate smaller streets, alleys and paths on his bike rather than in a car.  The computer shown is an EeePC 701 with webcam.  No doubt you could add a wireless card and turn it into a mobile internet tool, thus keeping your legions of Facebook friends and Twitter followers up to date even during your rides.
