Griffin, who partnered with Charge Bikes for the recently released Griffin Plug fixie, has released their cycling inspired clothing line for Fall/Winter. Here’s what they have to say about it:
This season’s collection takes inspiration from the cyclist and the path of commuting from the countryside to the city. Griffin is mixing country tweeds with urban city living, as the guys in Brick lane are bringing polo to their bikes in the East End, we are bringing the country to the city. Mixing technical fabrics with traditional wools to produce garments that have all the flexibility and functionality of a modern day cycling jacket.
Some of the key pieces are the Harris tweed fixed jacket which is made in Italy and features ergonomic raglan sleeves and reflective taping. The fluorescent orange nylon features heavily this autumn/winter particularly distinctively in a pair of Kingston Trousers. The Cycling jerseys are made in England by original sportswear manufacturers Gymphlex, made from 100% high quality cotton interlock these jerseys also feature a raglan sleeve and have reflective piping sewn into back seem for visibility and thumb holes in the cuffs to pull the jersey right over the bottom of your wrist which prevents the jersey from rising up when riding.
The Griffin Plug has landed on English shores and is now in stock at the Griffin Online Store, we can ship internationally but there is a very limited number left. The competition to win one runs until the 1st December and can be entered here…..www.griffin-studio.com/subscribe.php
