Alchemy’s new aero carbon fiber road bike is, like virtually every bike at NAHBS, gets full custom geometry.
The new design borrows the tube-to-tube construction of their standard round-tube carbon bikes, it just uses aerodynamically shaped molded tubes. All tubes are U.S.-made UD carbon. They’ve been making their standard round tube carbon bikes for about a year and a half, but this new Aero Road is a bit more for racing with features like a tapered HT and PFBB30. Price is $4,500 and frame weight is 1100g (57).
There’s also a dedicated TT/Triathlon model with even more aero shaping, plus a belt-drive 29er mountain bike, standard road bike and a fixed gear with trick chainstays. Peep them all after the break…
The Aero Road has full internal cable routing for both rear brake and derailleurs.
The Aero Road maintains a standard round seat tube, but the TT/Triathlon bike below gets a sculpted seat tube and other wind cheating shaping:
It’s also full custom and about the same weight as the Aero Road. Price is $4,750. Lead times are 8 weeks.
The Fixie bike is steel and runs $1800 and is also full custom.
Their 29er mountain bike is titanium and can be had with regular or ISP (integrated seat post) as shown, and with regular or Paragon sliding dropouts. Price starts at $2,800.
