Jamis has updated their 650B offerings to include 12×142 thru axles (with Rockshox Maxle) on the full suspension models and reworked the frames. The Dakars get larger top- and downtubes and 25% larger chainstays to improve both lateral and torsional stiffness. Fortunately, these improvements come with no net weight gain thanks to a three-piece welded hollow yoke construction.
As if to cement the idea that 650B will replace 26″ bikes in a range of categories, Jamis has axed nine of those models for 2013. Full specs and images for the Dakars, Dragon and Nemesis below…
