FROM IMBA: A federal Wilderness bill affecting Sun Valley, Idaho, will soon be headed to the U.S. Senate for a vote. It would ban mountain bike access to more than 24 trails in the Ants Basin and Castle Divide areas, two of the state’s most iconic mountain biking landscapes. While IMBA generally supports conservation, we have been fighting this potential bike ban for several years. Please help by speaking out against it! Call or email your U.S. Senator; no matter where you live, their upcoming vote will be critical. We have provided talking points, contact info and additional details, click here to see them and take action!

Everyone should ride here if they can before it is too late. We did a four day bikepacking trip last summer through these areas and the scenery alone was worth it. Please contact your senators.

If IMBA is on it there is no hope.

@Ted

You say that like someone who has never been caught poaching wilderness area. It only takes one time where a Ranger makes you pull your wheels and hand carry your bike out 12miles in carbon shoes (on top of the fine/misdomener charges) and you would rethink that statement a bit…

Only if eBikes are banned from the trails.
