Since launching their high end ElevenSix coil shock, Push Industries has been steadily adding fit kits to work with more bikes. The current application list will be updated by month’s end and includes about 26 bikes, and 40 more are in R&D.
Nothing’s changed on the shock, they’re just continually ramping up production capability to fit more bikes. Shown above, the Elevensix is the only coil shock approved by Chris Cocalis for the new Pivot Mach 6. Spring on to see the latest hack to put it on a Santa Cruz Bronson and more…
The blocky mount on the left fits the new Specialized Enduro 29 and 650B bikes.
Shown in silver is the new Bronson Link, which lets you fit the rear shock on a Santa Cruz Bronson. They’ve done a Nomad link before (blue), and they work with SCB to get their blessing for making the links that allow you to switch from an air shock (which the bikes are designed specifically to fit) to Push’s coil-over shock.
For the Bronson, it modifies the leverage ratio of the bike to work with a coil shock so it rides correctly and improves small bump sensitivity and overall bump performance. And the dual valve system lets you toggle on the pedaling platform for better hammering or descending without compromising the damping tune in either position…which is the real secret sauce for Push’s design.
Each bike gets a custom valve and piston setup and damping tune, plus whatever mounts are needed, and more are on the way.
