360º of Paris – Two Takes on the Next Generation of Cycling POV Footage

After seeing a number of cameras and camera rigs capable of putting together 360º video footage, it was only a matter of time before we started to see the results. Most 360º footage allows you to make a video in one of two ways – you can have the entire field of view visible for a trippy result that may make you a little dizzy, or you can use it to create a regular looking video that has the option of allowing the viewer to drag the view point around the complete field of view.

We’ve already seen the result from Shimano with their 360º Experience, but now we’re starting to see the footage from users that likely have a much smaller budget. Thanks to the work of Renaud Skyronka with Paris Chill Racing, we are treated to a unique view of Paris, France. Take the wild journey above, or drag your way through 360º of Paris after the jump…

You can do the same thing with Ricoh Theta S. No need to have 6 GoPros. 😉
