The Giro d’ Italia is about to enter its third weekend of racing, so why not get in the spirit with some Santini jerseys. The Italian company has been producing the leader’s jerseys for more than 20 years, and nothing says summer is on the way more than the pink of the race leader’s Maglia Rosa. You too can get the feel of a Grand Tour leader’s jersey with the same fit and fabric that the best GC rider is wearing these days. Check out a bit of new tech in the jersey, plus a few special edition jerseys celebrating the race, and more from Rapha, and Ekoï after the break…

 Santini

This year’s new Maglia Rosa joins the trends with longer raw cut sleeves that come to the elbow, for a more aerodynamic fit. It uses Santini’s extra light and aero Body Fit material on the back and sleeves, and perforated Rudy fabric on the front for breathability and a bit more structure. While your 85€ jersey won’t get your team’s logo sublimated on the front, you’ll get the same fit and cut, with a drop collar and silicone rear gripper hem as the champions are riding.

In addition to the Maglia Rosa, Santini also offers replicas of the blue, red, and white leaders jerseys, and to commemorate this year’s race have a host of other special jerseys. The Maglia Nera is a black jersey that was awarded back in the 40s & 50s to the last finisher of the Giro. Santini has a whole run of hit from gloves to caps to remember your DFL performance.

They’ve also got four special kits in this year’s Stage Line, meant to highlight some key areas where the Giro heads this time around. Included are the Gelderland jersey in honor of the Dutch start, the Dolomiti jersey for the Queen stage that heads over the passes of the Dolomites, The Colle dell’Angelo for highest and most risky climb in this year’s race, and the Chianti jersey in honor of the time trial through the famous wine region. Find all of the 85€ jerseys, including their matching 110€ bibs and 13€ cotton caps over at Santini’s web shop.

  1. Oh Rapha, you so cray cray. Honestly did not think anyone could make a set of glasses uglier than those Assos shades, but you have accomplished this! Plus, the Raphas are heavier, seem to have less adjustability and use lenses that probably don’t stand up the the Adidas LST… What’s not to love! I’ll take two! Not…
