Over the years it seems like back-road riding has exploded in popularity, with more and more gravel riders stopping by the shop each year. Ira, a co-founder of Breadwinner Cycles, is used to long hauls having won the trans Iowa race twice, along with a history of riding rough roads. His experience, along with the team’s, brought us the B-Road gravel runner.

Now a special Take the Long Way Home paint scheme is making its mark for a limited time…

This is a really nice looking bike. I’ll admit I’m a little over the whole adventure/gravel/whatever bike, but the paint job and style is great. One thing I’d change: That setback thomson post. I appreciate the stem/bar/post all matching, but something has always seemed wrong about those to me. I was sort of hoping to see more custom builders embracing T-47, but even Cielo seems to only have it on certain models themselves.

We will spec setback or straight depending on the design. Since each bike is custom the post, stem length, bar width, and crank arm length can vary. If an order comes in and the customer wants a different saddle or bar for an even more personal touch we won’t shy away from making the substitution.

Fortunately if you’ve got six grand for this, swapping a $100 seatpost is no problem. Beautiful bike.
