Can’t get that GoPro (or any other action camera) mounted exactly where you want it for that sweet angle? Now you can just stick it there and start filming. Gekko Gum sticks to almost anything, holds up to 200g, and stays malleable and sticky for years. This one’s already fully funded but still has a few weeks left for you to nab one for €15 with delivery in January.

Crio promises to keep your drink cold for hours and this one was fully funded in under 90 minutes. It uses a cryogel previously used by NASA and F1 to maintain temperatures in extreme environments, so keeping your sports drink cool on a 100ºF day shouldn’t be any problem. It’s BPA free, holds 600ml (20oz), has a silicone gripper band and uses a proprietary one-way, leak free squirt valve to make drinking fast and easy. They’re starting at $35AUD during the campaign (about $27USD) with delivery in January.

Foldylock Compact is the followup to Seatylock, which articulated out of your saddle to secure your bike, and the Foldylock Classic. This compact version uses the same hardened steel links with a durable scratch-free polymer coating, just in a smaller size that makes it lighter and easier to transport. Stainless steel hardware and a drill-proof rivet connect the six links and help it unfold smoothly. It mounts to the frame using its own sleeve with water-bottle bolt attachments or Velcro straps. Grab one for as little as $55 on their Kickstarter campaign, delivery in April 2017.

OORR, which stands for “Out Of the Rat Race”, is an Australian upstart that’s looking to combine virtually every desirable feature into a set of pro-level cycling kits. Think lightweight, UV protection, anti-stink, and safety and combine all that with good looking designs and you’ve got OORR. The materials are offered in two levels, Cafe and Frogskin. The Cafe line uses spent coffee grounds to give the material a natural UPF of 26 and natural anti-bacterial properties. The stretch goal Frogskin material permanently infuses nanoparticles inspired by tropical frog secretions that kill bacterially instantly and completely and won’t ever wash out. That means no perma-funk developing in your clothes no matter how many times you wear and re-wear them (don’t judge). The company is a B-Corp with all production designed to minimize environmental impact, and the graphics are designed specifically to alert drivers and minimize their potential impact on you. They’ll offer general fitness tops, too, but the cycling clothing starts at about $117 USD ($145 AUD) during early bird offers. Check their Kickstarter campaign here.

As a followup to the original, Brian took our feedback and those of other supporters of the original Weatherneck and created Version 2.0. The new Weatherneck is a modular balaclava that uses a “mullet hat” with magnetically attached face shield that can be removed in one second with one hand…just grab, stow and go. This V.2 adds a beanie that fits under your helmet that’s made of a mesh material to let heat escape just enough to keep you warm but not overheating. The part covering your mouth and nose is also a new mesh material to help hot exhaled air escape easier so it won’t fog up your glasses. You can get the system for $35 during the Kickstarter campaign, or just the hat ($25) or face mask ($20) if you’ve already got favorites at home.

That’s strange, I’ve got email notification only ten minutes ago. I hope the project succeeds, March can’t come sooner.

When X-Shifter can demonstrate that their product still works after a season on a DH bike, I’ll be impressed.

CRIO: PLEASE, 3 times better than other bottles?? What other bottles!!??
The cryogel allows thinner insulation, than with air, but not really better and it weighs more than air or vacuum.
They should publish a graph with temperature against time, in a 20 C environment, then we might take them serious.
I use a Primus mug, on the bike, that will keep my tea at a good drinkable temp. for more than 3 hours or my Elite plastic bottles that’ll keep cool for 2-3 hours when filled with icecubes.

That Foldylock looks a lot like an Abus.
